Sort any list easily [Web]: The Alphabetizer 0.62

Have a listing of items that you need to have sorted quickly, but don't have access to Excel (nor want to open it up) or any other tool installed that can do the trick? Here's a quick way you can sort and perform a number of other commonly-used list-like tasks: Visit the Alphabetizer online and paste your list, select your options and sort!

By default, the Alphabetizer will sort your items (one line at a time), but there are a few other options you can choose for more advanced lists - i.e. comma separated, tab delimited, or other delimiter of your choosing.

With the data, you can:
  • Strip HTML
  • Ignore Case
  • Make all lowercase
  • Capitalize first word
  • Remove Duplicates
  • Reverse List
  • Randomize
  • Ignore Indefinite Articles
  • Add a letter or number before each item (incrementing)
  • etc.
My favorite feature: "Now in ridiculously Web 2.0 Style!"

This is a great tool! I've used it several times both professionally and personally. A nice time-saver.

Yeah - for some reason, I hate having to slap a list into Excel, as sometimes it likes to cram everything into one cell...so, this does the trick!

Im putting up a similar tool. I made this as a quick-desktop app before. And someone asked me to make it a web app so here it is, http://fedmich.com/strings/
Pls check and give me some comments and suggestions about it. :)
